It can be a headache to digest all of the necessary information to judge a Rap/hip hop artist of being the greatest of 2009. Many artist's have one song that weigh your mind into thinking they are worthy (One hit wonder's). For example, In 2007 After the release of soulja boy's song "Crank that" Which had over 4,000,000 digital download in the united state's alone, becoming the third highest-selling song ever, Many people believed he could be the greatest artist alive, Only to criticize him at a later date by saying his song's are too repetitive and are destroying the music industry.

On the other hand, it can all be to do with your own personal taste's weather it is the music they produce, or the artist's personality that is displayed by the media. Keep in mind that the media can turn a human-being into a completely different person. when a camera was pointed in your direction, you acted as you always do, didn't you? Wrong! you acted in a way that you thought would portray a better image of yourself. Take 50 cent for example. he is always hating on other rapper's because either that is what he believes will sink his competition, or the media are cutting away at him, so you only see what they want you to see. A piece of gold turned to stone.

 In term's of talent i conceive that the best rap/hip hop artist's are as follows.

Drake: His full name is Aubrey Drake Graham and was born October 24, 1986. Drake is also a Canadian actor for the TV series Degrassi. Example's of his song's are:

 Kid cudi: Scott Ramon Seguro Mescudi Is his name and he was born in Cleveland, Ohio. January 30, 1984. Like Drake, Kid cudi is also an actor. After the release of his debut mixtape, A Kid Named Cudi, He started to gain major attention from all over the world. Example's of his song's are:

Eminem: His full name is Marshall Bruce Mathers III, and was born October 17, 1972. Eminem is a record producer as well as a rapper. He has sold over 75 million albums worldwide and quickly gained popularity with The Slim Shady LP with was released in 1999. The slim shady pl won a grammy award for best rap album.
