I was scammed on eBay once. Someone got a hold of my password and started selling cars and other unmentionable things through my account. Ebay customer service was great and got those auctions down immediately.

I learned to NEVER open a link in an email from "eBay" or answer a message from a potential buyer without going through your eBay account and your seller's interface.
