wow  i have firemen friends and never heard the prayer..Thank You and your hub is beautiful and I love the Beatitudes and always have believed in them as well as the Ten Commandments..which I don't hear much about anymore..:O( but i believe in them all the way... Very nice page, Sometimes the Bible is all that gets me through. I have a question I hope you could answer. I have not found any way to get it answered otherwise.

I did a page the other day and when I published it there were links to pornographic websites on it. I want my pages to be family friendly. Is there a way to control what type of links appear on your pages? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

My Recent Breakthrough With God

From the time I can remember, I have loved and had an affiinty with critters. When asked as a young boy what I was going to be when I grew up, I would always say a Professional baseball player. However, that did not happen. My life took a downward spiral that led me away from God's purpose for my life into a world of sin which greatly detracted from my goals. While my love for baseball never abated nor changed, my direction did.

I truly misspent my time and yet I can look back now and see that everything I've done has still led to God's purpose for my life in the manner He gifted me with. I maybe didn't become a Pro Baseball Player, I did I still enjoy the game in many aspects. I watch my favorite teams and keep up with how they are doing. I still catch bullpen for my best friend who is in college playing for the National Junior College Championship team Chipola Indians in North Florida (Marianna)

Again, what has that to do with being able to do all things through Christ Jesus? Well, He gave me this passion. He gave me this desire. He gives us these goals and dreams to serve Him with. He also gives us the strength and endurance to fulfill those desires. Isn't that amazing? We think it's all on our own power at times and energy, when in reality it is all from Him for His glory!

Here recently I have been struggling with what you can call a minor case of adult ADD. I would sometimes just sit on my couch at home(that I am so thankful for because without my mother I wouldn't have) and ponder on things of I would worry and worry over little things like that didn't even purtain to me at that instant. I would worry about if I were someday going to have a house or if I would be able to get married when I wanted because of money. I never did just say her forget worrying and start to pray until after I went to the doctor for my problem and he basically in a nut shell just told me what my mother and friends told me "Stop worrting your only 20 and your on the right track. That's what I should've done in the first place. Why is it, it's always our last resort instead of our first? Our strength and power come from God alone and yet we try to go upon our own strength so often.

It was amazing how much of the weight of this troubling situation lifted once I prayed and received clarity from God on this whole thing. I have recently starting taking a herbal drug called 5- HTP along with a multi vitamin and Omega 3 Fish Oils, for some reason these medications jumper out at me after researching them online. They were some from a list my doctor asked me to look up and study on.

GOD is GREAT! Everyone needs him, He will do great things if you just give pray for him to guide you. God has taken me on a long journey, and put me in the eyes of my closest family. My uncle introduced me to firefighting two years ago. I started volunteering and from there it lead me to my purpose in life. I am now a full time firefighter whom I started volunteering with and have been for 1 year and some weeks. I wouldn't have been able to do this without Jesus. I have been certified firefighter since I started my job which it only took me 7 months fo aquire, with me having to work while i was a volunteer it was tough, but I pulled through. I am now half way finished with my Fire Science Diploma from a close by college and have many hands on experiences with helping my uncle in some Firefighter 1 classes in Georgia. I thank God every morning I wake up for the path he set me on.

I live this life here till life won't let me live here anymore. from the time we 'suit up' till the job is done...OMG you are a wonderful person and i loved the video..the dedication of firemen is wonderful..as you are.
