Next Episodes: Sunday Night 3/16 8 PM Eastern/7 Central

Nomination Ceremony

Thanks to an idiot poster on the internet (not on hubpages) someone has spoiled it for me as to who has won the endurance HOH competition they teased us with at the end of Wednesday's episode. I won't ruin it for you but the house will definitely be interesting this week as the house has seemed to somewhat split into two factions but its still too early to see who's going to last. One thing I am happy of, Bueno Girl Amanda was not voted back into the house. I didn't think she would but you never know with Big Brother.

Tuesday Night 3/11 Preview

It always amazes me some of the things we see on reality tv and I always wonder where do they find these people. 27 letters in the alphabet? And then when people disagreed with her she actually had to count it out until she found out and is not a letter (as in "y and z"). Its amazing to me how naive Natalie is as its extremely obvious Matt is annoyed to hell from her, but she assumes he's only kidding. At first I thought Matt is just a jerk, but after seeing some of Nat's dumber side I can see why he is acting the way he does. H'es probably still a jerk but I don't feel bad for Nat as this is going to be a trainwreck for her. I would think its kind of obvious CBS did not pair true "soul mates" together based off perhaps Sheila and Adam, definitely not soulmates, but funny television.

I was surprised to see James somewhat throw Chelsia under the bus. A little jealousy perhaps? I don't know why he's so concerned, I'm sure many females soul mate is a young, able, half crazy homeless guy who wants to bike accross the US. Besides this mini-bettrayal I see Chelsia more as an unknowing pawn up there. Sharon's time is about up in my opinion but she still has a chance as we have POV coming up.

Sunday Night 3/9 Preview

I'm happy again, another annoying member of the house is gone. I'm extremely glad Big Brother has thrown in this new twist as this season has been lackluster in comparison to last season so far. I think we will see much more drama as everyone is now in it for themselves and not surviving as a couple although many will probably try to work with their old partner. We could see some nice/brutal betrayals coming up, Natalie being one of the most prime suspects it looks like.

I'm also happy one of the evicted gets a second chance. If you haven't voted yet you can use the link in the upper right to get you to the right spot. I have already voted for Paaaaaarker (as Matt call's him with his heavy Boston accent I hate) as he was the coolest guy and was unfairly voted out due to his rude and bitchy partner Jen. With him back in the house things will definitely get a little more interesting. If Parker doesn't get voted back in I'd be surprised as everyone else who has been evicted annoys the hell out of me. But pretty much as long as I don't hear the words "bueno" again I'll be fine Sunday.

Tuesday Night 3/4 Preview

I don't know if its just timing or if this cast is not my fave as BB9 is not the event it was for me when I had Evel Dick roaming the house. I have been so busy I have finally just caught up (Mon. night) watching the episode online. What really gets me about these housemates, the strategy is just so weak except perhaps "Operation Condor". How could Allision and Sheila think the lesbian thing would be taken in a good way, if it were true or a lie? There is so much bad strategy in this house I am hoping for some twists to liven things up. I do have to admit I am hoping Ryan finds a way to not get evicted as for some strange reason I dislike Jen so much I am hoping Ryan hooks up with Allison and then dumps Jen. I doubt they win POV though so good chance he's on his way out.

Sunday Night 3/2 Preview

I was mad I missed the Amanda fainting episode but luckily I should be able to catch up at the big brother website. Its annoying as they have a few commercials if you watch an episode online but its not too bad otherwise. This should be interesting with Joshuah and Sharon winning HOH. Do they take out the Adonis's (Matt & Natalie), or do they keep them around as it seems they are safe if they win HOH. Perhaps they'll go after one of the couple's from "Operation Condor". One thing I am sure of, we'll never have to hear "bueno" again. That had to be the most annoying noise/sound in the entire world. My hopes are that the next couple to go are Ryan and Allison as both aren't my favorite at all but really I think its possible for virtually any couple to get put up now as its getting to be late enough in the game that anyone can turn on anyone.

Tuesday Night 2/26 Preview

I do have to say I am happy again, the most annoying couple to me is back on the block and the favorite to leave (Alex/Amanda). For a few episodes I thought Amanda might be tolerable but after Parker was voted out her annoying ways got even worse. I thought the Bueno sequence was hilarious and made me even more glad I haven't anteed up to purchase any of the live feeds as I'm sure the bueno thing would have been killing me as well. I thought the strategy of telling Matt he wasn't going on the block but then putting him up was a little flawed but it seems none of these housemates know how to really play this game. I think the one or couple who wins this house is the one who continues to stay under the radar (Josh & Sharon perhaps?). Nevertheless it'll be interesting if Matt & Natalie get the POV and use it on themselves, but I'm thinking 80%+ chance annoying Amanda and Alex, who I also can't stand anymore will be going home soon.

Sunday Night Preview 2/24

HOH Eviction Nominations

Tough to predict who Crazy James and Chelsia will put up but I wouldn't be surprised to see Ryan ad Allison back up there and Amanda and Alex due to the recent infighting in the house and the annoyances that Amanda has been bringing. Ironically, that last episode has made me think Ryan is a halfway decent guy (Jen definitely brings out the worst in him), but unfortunately I think its too late. By revealing their secret they painted a target on themselves. I don't see any reason Crazy James will overlook them and put someone else up unless something new and crazy happens, which probably will knowing Big Brother.

Wednesday Night Preview 2/20

Eviction Ceremony

No matter which couple goes I'm happy. If Jen survives she'll be toast the following week, and I'm very impartial to Ryan and Allison so I'm happy either way tonight. I love how quickly "soul mates" Alex and Amanda have hit the rocks. I don't CBS had any intention of pairing anyone with their true soul mate. I think CBS smartly paired people together who would cause all kinds of drama. The flirtaciouos Amanda and the jealous Alex are terrible soul mates but will provide great drama. I think tonight we say good bye to Jen and Parker. As much as everyone likes Paaarker (as Bostonian Matt says), they hate Jen just as much. And then you have the jealous DJ Alex mad at Parker for 'stealing his girl' and you have the fake lesbian relationship with Allison and Sheila, so I see no way Parker and Jen survive tonight.

Tuesday Night Preview 2/19

Power of Veto Competition

After seeing more terrible strategy from the housemates I was not surprised at all to see Jen & Ryan put up and their respective game partners. Why would the house allow a narutal alliance of four to remain. And Jen is one of the dumbest people I have ever seen. Stating in front of everyone that she is going to win. I feel bad for Parker as I think with his demeanor he could have gone far, but as long as he's attached to Jen he's pretty much wearing a target on his back. It should be an interesting next episode as Jen strategizes against her own boyfriend to stay alive in the game. One thing that definitely pleases me though, at least Jen or Ryan, one of them, will 80%+ be evicted next Wednesday. Maybe there is some justice in the Big Brother household after all.

Sunday Night Preview 2/16

HOH Eviction Nominations from Alex & Amanda

Definitely some terrible gameplay/strategy from Jacob to get himself and his ex-girlfriend evicted. I was shocked too that the Christian/Marine would be the first one to start some underhanded play although it was perhaps one of the worst moves I've seen (Dustin wanting to be put up was the worst). I also do not like the fact that Jen told Parker about Ryan, I thought it was much better seeing the jealousy as he tried to hide it. This might be Jen's downfall as they now have a natural alliance of four and the rest of the house will see it I would think especially as Jen keeps acting like the game is "in the bag" as she calls it. Way too early to make a statement like that. The good thing for me enough of the players are so annoying (Amanda/Alex definitely come to mind) that I won't be shelling out any extra cash to get Showtime or the live feed as certain players would drive me crazy. Until then I'll just have to wait until Sunday Night to see what happens next.

Wednesday Night 2/13 Preview

Tonight we will see the first houseguests or pair evicted. My money is on the Sheila/Neil team and Sheila seems to think she is not 45 and is greatly disappointed in her "soul mate". I think Parker would like to get rid of the Ryan/Natalie team but Jen will talk him out of it (as Ryan is Jen's true boyfriend, what a twist Big Brother has thrown in there).

I love the twists of this game as we will be seeing Ryan in his own personal hell until he is evicted and who knows maybe Jen will start to like her "soul mate" in the easy going cool Parker and make things really interesting.

The Jacob/Sheila web will be interesting but to me the guy is so dumb to not understand why she is so angry with him. It funny I figured he'd be thumping his Bible but in reality he is more low key but is the one who cheated on Sheila making him the immediate bad guy.

Another thing that befuddled me was the homeless guy Crazy James. How is that anyone's idea of a "soul mate". Yes I'm sure Chelsia is a free spirited party girl but I've never seen anyone trolling for dates in homeless communities. I really think these "soul mates" were chosen for a good show and that many of these "soul mates" will not be hooking up in the end.

Big Brother 9 Til Death Do You Part

Big Brother returns tonight a little early I'm guessing because of the nice writer's strike which has made television even worse when one would think it was nearly impossible. The premise or theme for this year's show is that the roommates are actually soul-mates based on their applications, just none of them have met each other yet. An interesting idea but we'll have to see if it works as last season's drama with Evel Dick and his daughter Danielle and America's Player Eric, was as pretty much as good as it gets. It'll be interesting if any of these characters prove to be nearly as interesting as our favorite people and favorite people to hate (Dustin, Jen, Kail). If you haven't met the new cast I have a youtube preview video below and some quick info also listed below.

  • Allison-28 year old Pharmaceutical Rep. from Boston (I hate those accents), she has a strange past which includes a failed attempt at professional gambling and a large resume of charity work. She is attractive enough to maybe put something together but something about her tells me not many will like her around too long. Not as bad as Wamber but I wouldn't be surprised to see her gone quickly.
  • Amanda-23 year old paralegal from Minnesota (the female Nick?). She looks like fun and easy going so she might go far. She seems very well rounded and might be looking to go late into this game. Although after just watching the preview below Amanda is definitely the dumb one of the house. Could be good or bad depending on others' strategies
  • Adam-29 year old PR Manager from Florida (previously Jersey). I get the feeling he is a cheesy guy just from his pic. He might be gone real quick or might hang around under the radar for awhile, hard to tel, depends how good his game is. Looks like he is a mama's boy so we might see some interesting interaction.
  • Alex-24 year old DJ from New York. I can tell right now I will hate this 'player'. He might get a girl or two fighting over him but I think he's evicted quickly as I've never met a dj I didn't like.
  • Jacob-23 year old electrician from Georgia (former marine) looks like a good honest type of guy who's very religious. I think he can go far as long as he doesn't bring out his Bible and start thumping on it. Looks like he's going to try and play it the honest way.

  • Natalie-28 year old bikini barista from Oregon who carries her Bible around with her everywhere she goes. This could be a recipe for disaster but if she is not 'Jameka-ing' all the time she might make it to the middle of her game. Just from my brief research I can tell Nat & Jacob are meant to be thanks to CBS casters.
  • Chelsia-21 year old Iowan blond college student party girl will be interesting to watch if nothing else. I think she will have trouble with half the housemates but will probably be the party animal with the other half. She is a fan of Marilyn Manson and is said to have many piercings and tattoos. I can't wait for the Bible thumpers to meet her.
  • Joshuah-25 year old advertiser from Texas. Looks like he is one of the gay house members but doesn't appear to be as dramatic as Dustin and Joe were but we'll have to see once the show begins. It seemed like last season Dustin didn't reveal his true self until Joe was gone.
  • Matt-23 year old roofer from Massachusetts looks like he thinks he will be around a long time this game as he proclaims himself an expert liar/sweet talker. I think he has a short stay as the housemates see through his ruse and his own self confidence gets him evicted.
  • Neil-29 year old realtor from California. Neil is also gay but looks more straight and looks like he'll be a little more under the radar than Joshuah. It looks like he doesn't likephony people so this might get interesting.
  • Parker-26 year old Paparrazzo from California. By appearance he appears to be a mixed Sideshow Bob but looks like he might be one of the more interesting deeper character of the show. He seems pretty easy going and might go far with a good strategy.
  • Jen-26 year old blonde bratender from Ohio. Hard to say what's going on with her except she'll probably be with the partiers more than any other group. Her bio lists her as single but then says she is very loyal to her current boyfriend (another Danielle-type boyfriend situation?). We can only guess until tonight.
  • James-21 year old from Florida who has dyed red haired person and is trying to ride his bicycle around the world. He is self proclaimed crazy and insane so he might just be someone wanting a lot of attention or he might have some serious issues. Unless he's a real fun guy to be around I think he's gone pretty quick.
  • Ryan-27 year old college student from Ohio who sounds like he might be one of the people more involved in the drama of the house. He is called loud, stubborn and opinionated so he might have a real short stay, but then again he might might be the next ED so it all depends how he plays his cards.
  • Sharon-23 year old realtor from Kansas is a self proclaimed military brat. She is also said to be dramatic, lively, feisty and of course, sweet. She also has some sort of off and on again 12 year old relationship with a guy so she might be on a wild roller coaster while she's stuck in the house. She's wearing a cross but its hard to tell how religious she is.
  • Sheila-45 year old single mom from California is a former model as well as a mother of a 16 year old boy. She is going to have trouble considering no one else is even in their 30's in this house but if she is smart she might be able to adapt as many of these housemates have "mother issues". As long as she doesn't pull a Kail. She might do well and could perhaps be a swing voter as she might not mix into the groups as well as others.

If I had to guess I'm thinking this will be a battle between the tattoed, partying housemates versus the Bible thumpers perhaps based on the popularity and unpopularity of Dick Donato last season (Evel Dick). It should be a wild ride as it starts tonight Tuesday February 12th on CBS at 9 Eastern/8 Central.
