Biketoberfest includes motorcycle shows, contests, vendors, and endless hours of wild entertainment. Starting from the time you hit Main Street you’ll be able to feel the excitement like a pulse of energy that runs through your body, from the smells of leather to the deafening sounds of exhaust pipes on supped up choppers. From first glance you call tell you’re in for one heck of a time. For as far as the eye can see there are at least one hundred thousand biker enthusiasts and vendors lined up and ready to rock and roll. Did I say vendors? I meant VENDORS! You’ll be able to find the most unique accessories you’ve ever seen, from awsome new leather motorcycle jackets to wicked new styles of motorcycle helmets.

Biketoberfest is one of my favorite annual motorcycle events. Slam packed with excitement and takes place on one of the most incredible beaches in Florida. Biketoberfest takes place on October 16 thru 19 2008 and is a great way to kick of the turn of the seasons. Festival features amazing motorcycle shows and have been named international award winning motorcycle festivals.

Biketoberfest is held on the north-east coast of sunny Daytona Beach, Florida.

Biketoberfest is for all sorts of people, even if you don't own a motorcycle you can still have fun. People come from far and wide to Daytona Beach to join in on the festivals events. There is plenty to do for everyone of all ages.

Biketoberfest was originally started due to the motorcycle races on the beach which later led to the high performance bikes to put on a death defying race at the Daytona International Speedway. With spectators coming back year after year the sport grew into what we now know as Biketoberfest and Bike Week. So many people flocked to Daytona for these events that it is hard to believe that there is enough room in the city to hold all the people, that’s why it’s always a good idea to book your hotel far in advance. Some participants and vendors have actually made their reservations a year or more in advance. There are also hotels that will give you a reduced rate if you book your next trip while your there. So take advantage of any offers you might find.

This event has been by far the most exciting motorcycle festival I’ve been to this side of the Mississippi. I would recommend getting as much information as possible and book your trip as soon as you can. You don’t want to miss anoth event like this. From new age choppers to classic rat bikes no two bikes are the same. So ride to live and live to ride!
