Being a swimsuit model requires peak physical condition. No fat, a flat stomach, and beautiful radiant skin its all part of it. You have to be not only beautiful and skilled, but young as well, because age does matter in the career of swimsuit modeling. If you don’t look young and beautiful, you simply won’t make it. Most swimsuit models are coming out of high school, because that’s what the market is demanding… sexy, experienced, trained models who are young. Many swimsuit models don’t last longin the industry. Some of the conditions they have to live with are harsh.

If you are not in the weight range that they want you in, they will reject you. Eating must also be rigidly structured. A meal has no extra and no less of what you need to eat the “right” way. Along with perfect diet comes mandatory exercise. You must work every muscle in your body. You need sleek toned legs and non-flabby arms, with nice, flat abs. Some may need to workout everyday to achieve this look.

Many photo shoots of swimsuit models are taken in the sun, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s warm during the shoot. Many shoots are taken in the morning or at night in winter or spring, when it may be much less than 50 degrees outside. Being able to model in your bikini in cold weather is a must. To show no sign of frustration or any sign that your cold is imperative. Some photo shoots are in the snow so being prepared is key. To be a swimsuit model you not only have to look the part but live the part.
