Bikini Waxing Tips
64Bikini Waxing Styles
Throughout the years, the bikini has become more and more popular. It seems as though they have gotten smaller and smaller as well. This has given women across the nation several different things to consider when going to the beach. Now they have to find some solution to get rid of that nasty unwanted hair around the bikini area.
Shaving is probably the first thing that popped into your mind after reading that and for a good reason. Shaving is one of the most popular methods of removing unwanted hair from the bikini region. Of course, many other people prefer waxing as opposed to shaving. There are a number of different factors that have an influence on the method you select to use when removing unwanted hair. Before talking about the different bikini waxing styles I'll tell you why waxing is so popular.
Shaving is without a doubt the most popular and most used hair removal method. Of course, waxing is very close behind. The main reason people select shaving instead of waxing is the pain often associated with waxing. Shaving is probably the quickest, easiest, and cheapest hair removal method of all. Of course, shaving has its own set of flaws as well. Shaving removes the hair from the surface and not the root. This is why shaved hair tends to grow back at a much faster pace and darker in color. Shaved hair will normally completely regrow in one or two weeks which is too fast for some people.
Let's face it, waxing can be extremely painful. It can also be quiet messy if you want to perform the task at home. Waxing, in a sense, is completely different than shaving. Waxing removes the hair from the root. Waxed hair normally takes two to eight weeks to fully grow back. This is a much longer time than shaving. Waxing is either very cheap or very expensive. Waxing kits are very cheap and available in most stores. If you are going to go to a doctor the price varies depending on the size of the area being treated. Hair that is waxed doesn't grow back faster and often grows back slower, softer, and lighter in color. After a few years of waxing it is believed that the hair will eventually stop growing.
