I enjoy all kinds of music and have decided to make a series of Hubs dedicated to the top songs of each year. I have based the top songs off of the Billboard charts for that particular year. I have tried to gather original or live videos of all of the bands, but some are just not available. So I have chosen ones that best represent the song and artists if this happens.

1970 was full of ups and downs. Diana Ross and the Supremes perform together for the last time and Simon and Garfunkel, The Beatles and The Monkees all break up, While the bands Styx, The Doobie Brothers, ELO, Queen and Aerosmith get together.

Legends JImi Hendrix and Janis Joplin die from drug overdoses. They were both only 27 years of age.
