Bio Oil Review: Does Bio Oil Really Work?
74Bio-Oil has taken Europe by storm. It claims to reduce the appearance of scars, acne scars, blemishes, wrinkles and stretch marks while it keeps your skin hydrated and non-greasy. I learned about this product on the internet when I was researching skin care products to address the unsightly scar on my knee. Mind you, I did use vitamin E oil on my scar at first but it didn't work. The vitamin E oil sat on top of my skin leaving my skin feeling heavy and greasy. My scar still remained dark and unsightly as ever. As I continued to google search, I found myself stumbling on Bio-Oil on many blogs and forums. It has received an overwhelming positive response from people who used it.
Being the skeptic that I am, I wasn't totally convinced Bio-Oil works
and thought it was a gimmick. However, I was tired of not enjoying the
summer sun and fun because of my scar. I was also tired of being
embarrassed of my scar and having low self-confidence. I wanted people
to stop staring at it. Since Bio-Oil didn't cost a fortune( a 60 ml
bottle is about $10 to $12), I thought why not give Bio-Oil a try. I
also kept a monthly log to keep track of my scar's progress. Boy, am I
soooo glad I did. The before and after photos revealed that my scar
really did improve over time. Visit my Bio-Oil Review blog for
more information. I've been using it close to 9 months now
and I must say I so glad I took a chance on it.
For me, I noticed improvements in a couple of weeks. If you want to see the most recent photos, visit my
Bio-Oil Scar Photo Gallery. This product exceeded my expectations and I
know for sure this summer I will be enjoying the summer fun without
ever again feeling embarrassed about my ugly looking scar. Bio-Oil
contains a breakthrough ingredient, called PureCellin, that enables
your skin to rapidly absorb the skin nourishing formula (see my post on
Bio-Oil ingredients, if you want to learn more). If you're still
skeptical about this product, I don't blame you. What's the harm in
trying? Aren't you curious that it could work for you?
There's one thing I would like to point out to you folks. You need have
lots of patience when using Bio-Oil. You need to apply it two times a
day on the skin problem area for at least 3 months (that's what the
instructions recommends). It takes a while for it to work but it works
(well, for me it really did). I've heard that in some cases, it does
take at least three months for Bio-Oil to work and other cases it
takes a few weeks. I guess it depends on the type and magnitude of the
skin problem you have. So it is important that you be patient and
discipline yourself otherwise you are not going to get the result you
want.
Bio-Oil gave me back my confidence. This summer I will take advantage
of the sunny days and beautiful weather feeling all comfortable in my
own skin again!
