I'm back.

I never planned on running a chocolate company. A former IT training marketing executive, and an MBA lecturer, I took a break from work when my child, was born. I then spent the next 4¹/₂ years as a stay-at-home mom. At that point, I toyed with the idea of going back to teaching in a part-time role. But due to the absence of a support system, and my husband’s job tranfers, it did not work out. That was when I took up online tutoring and blogging.

Then I thought, I will just work 15-20 hours a week and do a home business of handmade chocolates. And Rohini Chocolates came into existence. I decided to try my hand at running the business, which included the considerable logistics of day-to-day manufacturing operations, marketing and distribution. “I had never run a business, so it is a steep learning curve that, truthfully.” Chocolate is a great product and I am enjoying my work. People are liking my chocolates. They are coming back asking for more. My dream is to make Rohini Chocolates one of the reputed companies in India.
