Make your birthday card message unique and personal. Inside jokes are the best for birthday cards because birthdays are almost always an o.k. time to joke. When you make it personal you let the person know that you have thought about them and what to write. Birthday celebrations are a time to look over the importance of someones life and thank them for being a great person or a pain in the butt, whichever is applicable.
