If that is your only question, you're doing pretty good! Hannah Montana is a t.v. show about a singer that all the little kids are crazy about. Billy Ray Cirus plays the t.v. Dad.
I teach kindergarten, and while I agree with this list for a few of my more sophisticated girls, most of this isn't really for kindergarten. High School Musical has a lot more advanced themes than most of my kids care for--the majority like animals and cartoons, not boyfriend/girlfriend stuff yet--yay! They also are not yet into Hannah Montana although a couple with older sisters like her. My 14 year old babysitter loves her! My students do like the pet shop toys and barbies are a hit. The few who are allowed to play with Bratz like them but the majority of parents don't allow them. And they all do love webkins!
My daughter is almost five and she loves music. We bought her an ipod shuffle and it was one of the best gifts she could have received. The Rose Petal Cottage was a big hit too. She is very into her baby dolls and playing house. When her friends come over it is amazing to watch the way their outside world fades away and their imaginations just take over.
In case you didn't know Billy Ray Cyrus is her real dad he doesn't just play her dad he is. her real name is Miley Cyrus. check her website out heh www.mileyworld.com
Thanks for the gift ideas Gwen...^^ Just in time for the Christmas..^^
Last year for Christmas my great niece was five she got a baby alive from her grandma..we all bought the other stuff clothes, diapers food, bottles etc..there are also strollers and other things for this doll. my niece loves her she is so real you feed her and change like a real baby..she takes her everywhere..i think she would love this toy and the fact that it comes with so many other items to select from this could also help for birthdays and other gift days..

This year my daughter is 4-1/2 for Christmas. She goes to day care so she does know about Hannah Montana, etc., but I still feel that "classic" toys (i.e. non-brand stuff) is better -- interest lasts longer, plus the classics usually don't require batteries (the bane of every parent!) We are giving her a Barbie head that she can do hair styles on (OK, it is a brand, but it's pretty classic, and doesn't take batteries). Also I am looking around for more doll clothes (she has 2 Disney princess dolls) and my other idea is to get her a rope ladder/swing for the tree in our back yard. At present we have a short ladder permanently placed against the trunch of this tree which she loves to climb up and down. Dress-ups are also great at this age -- so far she has a fairy dress, super cape, and crown, and I even got a cute pic of her in her cousins' pirate hat & eyepatch.

Thanks for the list. It looks like I have some learning to do. I've only heard of most of the stuff on this list, but don't know what they are. What is Hannah Montana?
