71A BAD DECISION!
WHY CHOOSE NEW YORK?
“Start spreadin’ the news, I’m leavin’ today……” I think they’re talking about the “terrorists in GuantanamoBay, saying good-bye to their fellow inmates. They are trading the beautiful weather and being outdoors for years to come of the inconsistent weather of New York. Maybe good ol’ Eric will let them take in a Broadway show. Is this the CHANGE YOU WANTED?
What about the feelings of the people of New York? Every day they are going to relive 9/11; isn’t this Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome? Not being a lawyer, I already know what the first thing the defense Attorney’s are going to ask for. Can anyone say; change of venue? Who knows where this trial is going to end up, maybe your neighborhood.
HOW MUCH IS THIS GOING TO COST US
We don’t usually get figures from the government very quickly, and if we do they always under estimate. If it was a military tribunal, they would fly the people in, conduct a trial and be finished shortly. Since it is going to be on the mainland, the cost will skyrocket
- U.S. Marshall’s will have to go to GuantanamoBay to pick up those accused and accompany them to New York.
- The NYC Police Department will spend plenty to secure the accused.
- The jails will add to the cost to house and feed these guests. Don’t forget their pretty uniforms and the laundry.
- Will they pay for their own legal team or will the government (us) pay for it.
- Security will have to be increased in the entire city for possibly years.
- The jury will be in danger, as well as the prosecutors.
- There must be many more costs I can’t even imagine.
WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS?
All the credit goes to President Obama and his Attorney General Eric Holder, we should all be proud of them. The consensus of the voters is probably not with the administration, but what do they care.
This isn’t a pretty picture to New Yorkers these days. The trial of the 9/11 terrorists may take years, so this may cost the President votes in the 2012 Presidential election. That is what surprises me most; President Obama is usually more politically astute on matters such as this. New York City is usually a given for the Democrat’s, I guess time will tell.
WHAT WILL BE DIFFERENT FOR OUR GUESTS?
Many things will remain the same for example; three meals a day, medical & dental care, cable TV, prayer rugs, Korans but some things have to CHANGE. That would be the beautiful weather, scenery and the time out doors. I’m not sure if the Police will handle urine and feces being thrown at them as well as the Military do. Will these umm, men be able to do this in New York. Would the homeless like this?
Eric Holder – Attorney General
An honorable position is supposed to go to an honorable person. I know this is how things went in the past, but because of his position Mr. Holder is now referred to as; the Honorable, Eric Holder. What a crock!

So what if these untried individuals from the 9/11 attack have confessed. It was decided by Attorney General Eric Holder that a military trial was NOT what should be applied. Hey, come on up to the “Big Apple!” You’ll have a better chance of getting a fair trial in a court here than a military tribunal.
The government hasn’t even decided what rights these men should receive. How then do you conduct a trial by law that way? It is said that a decision to imprison these terrorists in jail for life is a favored sentence. Ask the people that lost loved ones on that day if they agree with that sentence. I’m sure everyone that does any writing, will be pounding their keyboard today. This story is one that hits every American in the heart. Is this being done to embarrass the George W. Bush administration? When it is told who and how CIA agents will be affected by this; what will happen to the CIA? These people will be “free game” to our enemy. What are our President and Attorney General trying to do to us? Please don’t tell me; it’s for our own good.

Harvey, all America is becoming unsafe just like Europe. The Muslims have simply changed their tactics from frontal attack to internal treason. Obama is a "taqqiya" Muslim and all his friends are "Dhimmis" who are playing along to destroy the American way of life for who knows what gain?
Harvey, you are echoing my very thoughts. I have been screaming at my tv for days now. I want SOMEBODY to tell me what good can possibly come of this move? I do think it is being done to try and embarrass the Bush administration. Just think of all the good intel yielded by the waterboarding--info INADMISSABLE in a civilian court. These clowns do not care at all for the safety of the citizens of America. They are playing a very high stakes game with people's lives. I'm sure these trials will drag on long enough for an attack of some sort to be put together in hopes of freeing these scumbags. I do not want to see any of my fellow citizens harmed or killed, but what will it take for these boobs to wake up and understand the enemy at all? THEY HATE US! Treating them "fairly" will not change their feelings.
We still have the power to fire this Washington crowd. What we need is for the people to realize it is up to them to take control of the government and not let it take control of us.Good hub.

Defense-Your Honor my client was never given his Miranda warnings. Along with that he was tortured.
Judge- Allegations of torture are very serious counselor what is your basis for such a claim.
Defence- Barrrack Hussein Obama said it himself your honor.
I beg the courts indulgence. Please take judicial notice of these numerous news reports.
Judge-Case dismissed with prejudice the defendant is free to go.

Do you mean B.O. wasn't part of 9/11; I didn't know that? The papers must be with his birth certificate.
Within nine months Holder has tried to erase history. Instead of complaining Mr Holder, learn that it is a privilege be an American and a right as an American to be free and protected.

I pray we have time before a change is made. I'm looking at next November to turn things. B.O. won't be able to pass anything he wants.
2010 is definetely crucial. Repubicans also have to get their act together and attract some real conservatives that can stand up and articulate the differences. Holder says they have a plan B, so does that mean he expects complete failure at this trail? Isn't that the first warning> I don't understand and probably never will.
