Pink is the color this summer - if you want to be really cool, you will combine the pink with black. That is: if you can handle the color combination. Black with pink is a color combination that will go very well with two types:

1. Blond, blue eyes, light skin: go heavy on the pink, use black for accessories. For 'spring types' as they're called it's safest to go with pastel pinks.
   
2. Dark skin, brown eyes, dark hair: you can go anywhere you want with this color combination: you will look great. Go all out flashy pink and it will make your skin shine. But the opposite will also work: a lot of black with just a few pink accents here and there. The best look is to avoid the pastels.
   

Pink outfits can be either classy or urban or anything in between. Many sports outfits are pink and black for instance.

It can be a lot of fun to wear a flashy pink shirt with an otherwise conservative black outfit - you know: heels, skirt, jacket... Mix it up a bit.

Similarly a black leather jacket can go well with a totally pink girly ensemble.

Black is a classic color: what you buy in this color will last you a lifetime - if it lasts that long. It's worth it to spend some money on quality, because black just doesn't go out of style. However, if you do buy for eternity, make sure the model is timeless. Preferably not too many thrills and buttons: just a sleek line that will never go out of style.

But while you're at it: make sure you buy the right size. Shoes that don't fit are a real problem. To be honest I'd never buy shoes online, unless I was really sure I could send them back if they did NOT fit.
