Blackhead Removal Tips

Blackhead removal is not the same as removing your everyday pimples as they cannot be squeezed to remove the pus or even treated with the same creams. This is because they have already been exposed to the air and have made a deep root in the pores of our skin, this is the reason why the head of the blackhead turns black. There are many different types of treatments for blackhead removal and also ways to prevent them.

There are lots of home remedies available if you don't want to try out all different creams and exfoliants that are going to cost you quite a bit of money. Home remedies can work very well when you find the one that is right for you because, just like any other cream or treatment, not everyone's skin reacts in the same way, so what might work for your friend might not work for you.

Home Remedies for Acne

Here are some natural home remedies for acne you might want to try, all of them one hundred percent natural as not to damage your skin: fenugreek works very well against blackheads all you have to do is crush some fresh fenugreek and mix it with some water until you have a paste and apply it to the blackhead for about ten to fifteen minutes. This will stunt the growth of the blackhead, making it disappear. Radish seeds work as well as fenugreek, by mixing crushed radish seeds and water and applying the mixture to your face the blackheads will begin to disappear.

Honey is another great remedy for blackheads, due to the fact that has natural ingredients that act as a skin peel for our face, removing all of the unnecessary dirt and other germs that can cause blackheads and other imperfections in our skin. If you warm some honey and the apply it to the black head for about ten minutes then wash it off with cold water, you will see the difference immediately. Not only will it remove the blackheads but it will also leave your skin very soft and clean.

Lemon juice can be used in various different ways to help you get rid of blackheads and also prevent them from appearing and reappearing. One of the most effective ways is using the freshly squeezed juice from a lemon and applying it directly to the affected area, leaving it to work for about twenty minutes and by doing this about three times a day you will not only get rid of the blackheads but you will also tighten your pores preventing them from reappearing.

You can also make different face packs with lemon juice and other ingredients such as lemon juice and toasted or grounded pomegranate, lemon juice, lime juice and powered cinnamon and lemon juice and drumstick pods. These face packs work very well if you apply them just before you go to bed, letting them work while you sleep and then removing them with warm or cold water in the morning. Even the peel of a lemon can help you with blackhead removal, try grating some lemon skin and applying it directly to the affected area.

Another great face pack or mask is a mixture of oatmeal and rose. When applied to the affected area this mask will not only get rid of the blackhead by drawing it out from the root but also close up the pores and preventing it from coming back. All you have to do is mix some oatmeal and rose with some warm water, apply and let it work for about fifteen minutes, then remove with warm water.

Coriander leaves can help you to prevent blackheads from appearing if applied twice or three times a week, or sometimes more if your skin is prone to getting a lot of spots. To your skin. These leaves must be applied as a face mask and left to work over night. To make the face mask crush some freshly picked coriander leaves, add some coriander leave juice and some turmeric powder mixing them to form a paste. Apply before you go to bed and remove in the morning with cold water.

As strange as it might seem, potatoes are also a very good remedy against not only removing blackheads, but also pimples, spots, whiteheads and even wrinkles. If you grate a potato and apply the gratings directly to the affected area, rubbing the potato in for about five minutes and then rinse your face with warm or cold water, you will begin to see the blackhead reduce almost immediately.

Different types of oils are also very good for getting rid of unwanted spots, almond oil for example will not only clean your face free of spots but also give you a very healthy looking skin and at the same time preventing any reappearance of the blackheads. Coconut oil has been proven to work on some skins, but not on peoples skin that is inherently oily. If you don't suffer from a lot with blackheads or any other spots then coconut oil can help you to get rid of the odd blackhead that may appear.

A Dermatologist Can Help

Whether you have blackheads, whiteheads, pimples or just or every day red spot, it is a good idea to speak to a dermatologist before you try any type of remedy, natural or pharmaceutical, to make sure that it is not going to damage your skin in any way. A dermatologist will help determine what type of skin you have and also the reason to why you get spots, especially if you suffer a lot from them. They can help with acne scar removal and the like if this is an issues that troubles you.

Many dermatologists will give you a skin graft to help you understand your skin better and also advise you on the day to day care that your skin in particular needs. They have a blackhead removal tool that can be purchased in the store. Though blackhead removal tools aren't always recommended they get the job done. Everybody skin is different and some people do have to take extra good care of their skin to prevent acne from appearing. Try to remember not to pick at spots that may appear, as tempting as it may be, because the only thing you will achieve with this is scars appearing on your face that may never go away.
