Blepharoplasty is known as the eyelid surgery and is done by the surgical incision of the either the upper eyelid or by the surgical incision of the lower eyelid. That said the eyelids after the after a certain age will droop and the reason is that most of the muscles begin to get weak after the age of 35. When that happens the muscles will not be able to holds the skin back and there are several folds that are there on the top of the eyes.

Look the picture and see how the upper ones are droopy and the surgeon will indeed make an incision the upper eyelid at a place where there is some crease so that the incision occurs in the natural fold and the person who has the surgery is able to walk away like nothing happened after a few days.

Before the eyelid surgery you need to do these things

Look for a surgeon who has the expertise. Get references

Look for a surgeon who can finance the surgery or you can get you the required finance even if you have the bad credit

Apply for a two day leave so that easily rest after the surgery

Tell your parents or near and dear ones or your husband to accompany on the day of the surgery

After the Blepharoplasty or the eyelid surgery

Do not take stress

DO not let your eyes go dry

Take two three days leaves and rest at home

Make sure that the your incisions are getting healed.

If you feel that there are some issues with the cuts or there is excessive pain then check with the surgeon regarding this.

Once everything is healed make sure to compare the difference with the before the eyelid surgery pictures and you will see the difference.

If you are satisfied then write a thank you note for the doctor.

After a few years you may want to visit the doctor and get the eyelid surgery done again so that you do not get the droopy eyelids and that sleepy look. You should keep looking younger as always.
