If you want wedded bliss in your home, the best way to get it is to be honest with your partner and yourself. Little white lies often end up as huge white ones by the time it is all said and done.

In my relationship, each month my partner and I write a note to each other and leave it on the kitchen table. This is our time to get things out in the open and be honest about things. It can be about how we are feeling, something we spent money on and forgot to mention, or it can be about an ugly tie that I just hate, but said it looked fine when asked about.
