To BLINK or Not To BLINK: That is Today's Social Bookmarking Question
60Blink Is One of the Easiest To Use
The cool thing about Blink is that after you add it to your toolbar and you click the bookmarklet to mark a story, it pops up a little window and pre-fills the URL for you. All you have to do is add a title for the link, add your tags/keywords and you're done -- then the window disappears from view...just "blinks" away I guess. Some of the other sites a clunkier -- they take you away from the page you're marking and drive you through 2 or 3 screens, or cross-check your link against their file for duplication, etc. Big pain. So that's why I love Blink - it's there when you need it but it never gets in your face. (Reminds me of a chocolate lab I used to have - maybe that's the real reason I like Blink, the truth comes out!)
Their monthly traffic is pretty strong, at just over 300k unique visitors per month, and they fall in Tier 3 of the BuzzMarker.com ranking list. They've grown at a decent pace the past 3 months, better than 20%. Their SEO rank isn't the greatest, but it's hard to beat their interface.
Speaking of labs, the social bookmarking site fetch is actually smallbusinessreview.com, and it's great for SEO. But that's another hub for another day!
Below I provided some screen caps showing the registration screen for Blink and also showing how to get the bookmarklet for your toolbar. Look how easy they make it -- big fat buttons to click, and even a video if you're unsure. They do allow multiple accounts and there's no email confirmation required, so you can ramp up fast. Try it, you'll love it -- promise!
