This is a powerful artifact for many heroes. It allow someone to blink at a large distance, several times a minute. However, there is one downside to this item. You can't use the ability if you were damaged in the last few seconds. This means a hero carrying a Radiance in dota would make your blink dagger completely useless! Otherwise, it has the same effect as the skills used by Magina and the Queen of Pain.

Artifact cannot be used by Pudge or the Vengeful Spirit! These characters could use their abilities to lock in enemy heroes. However, you can swap to someone else who's blinked out of reach...

There is no recipe for this item, the dota blink dagger is sold in stores. This includes the secret shops ran by Goblins in the forests. These are at the north-west and south-east corners of the map. You can see them on your minimap while you play a game if you look closely.

This dagger works very well on any other hero. Some have great synergy with it's blink ability to set up their Defense of the Ancients combo skills perfectly. Others can use it to chase someone endlessly, like the Omniknight. And even more use it to drop constant Area of Effect attacks or stuns that never miss.
