Web 2.0 is revolutionary for many things. There are few limitations on content, if any, and you're free to post every single funny picture and hilarious story online. This whole trend of user-generated content has grown so big that some have even begun making money from it, particularly from the blogging medium. But as many blog articles will tell you, it's not always as easy as that.

It's true that you can make money from blogging; terms like 'monetized blogs' and 'pro bloggers' all came from that phenomenon. Contrary to what it might look like at first, though, making money isn't as simple as posting a rant about how your day went and then expecting the cash to start pouring in.

A lot of blog articles and even pro bloggers themselves attest to this. While there's a certain amount of money involved and attendance in a formal office isn't required, the job isn't without its requirements. Pro bloggers have to do their own legwork on a regular basis if they want their blogs to earn any money, and none of it is easy.

Just because you're skipping out on a 9-to-5 workday and all that office formal doesn't mean you won't be working to make some money from blogging. There are also certain things that you have to iron out before your intended blog even goes online. Site design, for example, should be streamlined way beforehand. Affiliate and sponsor sites should be mapped out and a timeline for getting each of them finalized. It's quite a lot of work to do, and it can easily overwhelm you should you refuse to look at even a few blog articles to help you plan ahead.

Blogging to Be the Best

Although the blogging community is generally a very friendly one, there's still some competition between different sites operating in the same niche. After all, each and every one of you is vying for a spot in your viewers' limited attention span; you can't all get the same amount of views. In that kind of competition, every advantage counts, and blog articles give you the advantage of information.

How should you pick topics to make sure people are interested in what you say? Is there a way to discuss the same news as the other sites yet still rake in audiences? These are the kinds of situations and strategies that are typically discussed in blog articles, which are often written by real professional bloggers themselves.

In the blogosphere, success very often comes from having something that the other sites don't.
