When I was a child growing up in a small town in the south. I remember the days I would come home after school, and some days were stressful. I would set down, and pick up my new guitar that I had gotten for my 10th birthday. I would start playing without even knowing what I was doing. I would just close my eyes, and start playing with no care at all. I would listen to the rhythm of the music, and just totally drown myself in a whole other world, where I felt so peaceful, and relaxed.

Music changes, and I believe also it saves lives as well. I know this, because it saved my life. I am amazed to see how much the Internet today has given us so many great options to express our musical talents from Myspace music, Snapvine, Itunes, and many other great websites to choose from. Youtube is a wonderful place to show your friends, and everyone around the world can experience your original songs, and cover songs.

I know that when I play that music. It truly takes you to a place where you feel a sense of freedom. I remember a lady from Snapvine.com. It was about a year ago. She sent me a voice comment to my profile. I listened to what she said, and it put a big smile on my face. She was awake late at night, and couldn't sleep. She was having a lot of pain, and she came on snapvine, and listen to one of my cover songs, and she was going on saying that after she listened. Her pain went away, and she didn't have to take her pills. She said that it was almost impossible to not set it on repeat.

She was on the phone in pure joy, and tears. It truly made me feel like I helped someone with my music, and thats the best feeling in the world that you could receive. I have met so many friends that share the same passion as I do. I love meeting new people, and I hope that if you have a talent for music, don't be afraid to show it, because having a gift to change others for the better is something that should not be wasted.
