Blog and Ping for Massive Targeted Trafic
51Get Quality Organic Traffic from Search Engine Within Hours
Most blogs today has a self-pinging mechanism to they get noticed by the search engine quickly. However, most of us who still has conventional websites still waited a few weeks before getting indexed in the search engines. This technique that could literally force the Yahoo spider to index your new pages, and even your whole website, usually in less than 2 hours!
Blogging has become an important content management tool, but you can also use your blog to drive search engine spiders to your website at will!
If your new web page was just created and hasn't been indexed by the search engines yet, you need them to visit your new page first. We can use the blog and ping technique to fetch search engine spiders to crawl and to index your site.
To fetch the Yahoo spider to come visit your blog and eventually to index your regular sales website that you have just created, we just need to follow this.
1. Create a My Yahoo account
2. Add your blog content on your personalized Yahoo page by creating links within the My Yahoo website which you will point to your blog.
3. Notify Yahoo that you've added new content to your blog by "pinging" by using ping-o-matic or other pinging sites. When you "ping" Yahoo, the search engine spiders will quickly visit your blog and follow all links from your blog page. It will follow your link to your website and index those pages you have a link pointing to!
From here on out, just post new entries in your blogs containing links to the pages that you want indexed into your blog. That way, when the Yahoo spider reaches your blog and sees the new post, it will automatically follow the links in that post, and index any page that you want it to index!
When you are making your first blog post, it is critically important to include a link to your website because it will only index your blog but it won't be able to follow through your link to your sales website.

THis is great advice. I do have a question. Exactly how do you point your My Yahoo page at your blog? I cannot figure out how to do that.
