• 000webhost is A SCAM; No Payments are Made to Affiliates

  I found out about 000webhost, and it's affiliate program a few months ago. It is a company providing free hosting services, I also wrote a big post on it; commending it's hosting services as there are no Advertisements displayed.Yes; the hosting is free. But the affiliate program is a complete scam. They promise to pay $5 for each person who signs up and takes up their free hosting offer under your affiliate link. Their condition is that the site that the host should be at least active for 30 days before the payment will be made, and minimum payout is $100 (20 valid and active leads). The members show active for some time, and if the are active for more than 30 days, it says that the commission is ready to be paid, but later when you check, the member disappears from the list, or the status of the member changes to cancelled_inactivity etc. (this can happen even if the member was active for 30 days). I must have reached payout at least thrice, but then the members who signed up under my link show as cancelled. When you try to contact them, there is no response whatsoever. I wish there was some way we could report such scams. If there is a site where you can report scams like these, please let me know. I checked, too late, in the forum digital points, and lots of members have reported that they definitely don't pay their affiliates. My advice to everybody is: before starting with any affiliate network or program, thoroughly search the forums and learn from experiences of others. Don't waste your time on affiliate programs that don't pay. I hope I follow this advice from now on.
