Blogging

The phenomenom known as blogging is largely down to companies tracking the entries of bloggers. For example, as from the year 2007, Technorati was known to be following over 112 million posted blogs and this is just a single search engine. Blogs catalogue anything from short posts, known as microblogging, in essence not too dissimilar to Twitter... to audio podcasting, music via MP3, video blogging, photographic blogging and of course the most predominant forms of written blogs. Many blogs combine links to other blogs with common interests to their own blogs. The rapid growth of Twitter allows instant messaging from bloggers who share ideas and emotions without the laborious task of emailing friends.

Blogs have the power to gather large numbers of followers although, they rarely achieve celebrity status. A Splog is a king of blog that is used purely to spam companies and individuals and should be avoided at all costs. A Vlog is a blog that is made up of videos; and naturally videos are a useful type of communication but the over-use of videos will detract from the main message of one's blog.

Writing additional amounts of information and logging it via a webpage in order that one's viewpoint achieves a global visual audience via the world wide web is often referred to as a blog which comes from the contracted form of web log.

When writing articles for your blog, one should bear in mind that fresh content ought to be added on a daily basis for the writing to have the desired effect upon regular readers.

Time permitting, try to write sufficient articles to last an entire week and then publish the articles to your blog on a daily basis.

If you have a particular niche which interests you then blog relevant information about it in order to keep the attention of your blog's visitors.

Think about other areas of your blog that you can write about which could be categorised into 'sub-niches'; there's always something to write about.

Visitors to your blog ought to be allowed to comment on your articles thus allowing for unique article content which you could re-write at a later stage.

By visiting forums relating to your particular niche you could provide answers to questions and leave a link to your blog.

Obviously, you could repeat this method of article writing on all kinds of niches and the more you write about, the greater the number of visiors to your site.
