As a blogger the reality of writing becomes more enjoyable when you acquire readers and are recognized. the real fun comes when you finally discover how to turn those fan visits into cash.

recently I decided to look into getting paid for blogging. not your normal pay for post about stuff type deal; but a real writing assignment, decided, developed and deadlined by Moi. Yes it all finally came together when I discovered that my readers actually trusted my opinions and recommendations.

initially I began blogging on hubpages to get notice to my regular wordpress blogs. then I realized how tremendous the potential was to enrich my pockets after reading a few blogs about social networking and google. yes google. why google ? well page rank adds clout to your blog. if you achieve at least a PR 3 or PR 4 you are considered a serious blogger.

to achieve my dreams of making money for my writing I decided to compose a plan of action

like many of my fellow bloggers I want hits, and comments. I joined Entrecard last fall and it's helped in the hit department - but at a cost. my bounce rate shot sky high as people hit my blog and were off in three seconds flat.

I saw a hundred or saw visitors a day who were hardly ever clicking a link; and rarely leaving a comment. this was distressing. what to do, what to do. I thought about alternatives to entrecard and sough out better ways to get readers; who are interested in my content - and not just a one ec click. this was the key.
