Hello Out There in Penny Pinching Land,

$1.80 per pound for blueberries at a “pick your own” farm.  That is a great price.  My son and I went together, that bonding time is invaluable!  We talked about how to recognize the ripe berries.  How to gently coax them off the stem.  How to gently drop them in the bucket. How the farmer tended the berry bushes.  Close together in the bushes, we began to talk about heart matters.  That is where the real bonding happens. 

There ya go, another tip from me, pick your own berries with someone special and get more than you bargained for.
