The best use of bluetooth headsets is that at times they are comfortable and quite stylish while at other times they are ugly as well as awkward.  Yet the basic feature remains the same. Bluetooth headsets do not require connecting wires to work with your phone.

New technologies have come to the forefront with bluetooth headsets.  Initial designs often faltered from both the functional and stylish point of views.  However the headsets today are highly improved in nature. At the same time they vary widely in terms of prices.  You can find bluetooth headsets in the market in the price range of $30-$300.  Headsets costlier than that are also available. Using a bit of care and caution you could dispense with the possibilities of making some expensive mistakes.

Major design challenges that you face while either manufacturing or using the bluetooth headsets are the difficulties in creating real good headset.  While the traditional headsets can be designed pretty easily, the bluetooth sets are mobile phone accessories that require much more precision and efforts. Traditional headsets do not require any style or high design while these headsets require them.

Problem with the bluetooth headsets is that they cannot be made so small and tiny like the traditional headsets.  The major problem of making it small relates to its use of the mobile phone batteries that cannot be contained in a small case.  In addition the device requires extra electronic appliances.  Together they build up a bulky structure and it certainly affects the way you can mount them on your head and around the year.

Till date the major focus of manufacturers has been in constructing headsets that would be small and single piece design. They have never implemented an idea of using the headband. Again no one has really toyed with the idea of separating the microphone from the headset that could have made it smaller and adjustable in the mobile phone cases.  Of course the latest necklace style design is a step in the right direction.  In near future the technologies could be revolutionized making the headsets small and easy affair for the users.

It is well known that in creating any such device one of the major concerns of the manufacturers are the comfort factors.  Broadly speaking the headsets with blue tooth technology comes in two types.  Some of them could be held in place using the loop around the ear while others can be jammed in.  The first one is more comfortable though less secure while the second one is secure yet less comfortable. The tradeoff is between comfort and security and it depends largely on the end user which one he or she chooses.
