Bob Evans Restaurant

Bob Evans is a casual family restaurant with a country feel. Famous for its breakfast menu, breakfast is served all day at Bob Evans.

The restaurant chain started in Ohio from a single diner. Most of the restaurants are located in midwestern states. Each restaurant is owned by the Bob Evans Farms Inc. corporation.

If you don't live near a Bob Evans restaurant, but like country cooking, give some of these Bob Evans restaurant copycat recipes a try. I recommend the copycat potato soup recipe and any of the copycat pie recipes. They are truly representative of midwestern farmland cooking.

Another great hub, I like Bob Evans Sausages, heard that he got tired of other poorly made sausages ended up making it himself and became famous soon after. Thanks for sharing this recipes. Cheers.

Looking for a copycat recipe for their Rice Pilaf and their cranberry sauce served with the turkey dinner.

pot roast sandwich: pot roast, grilled onion and shredded carrot, american cheese, grilled sourdough bread. I don't remember if the pot roast is premarinated or not...but they don't do anything special to it. they just cook it and keep it in a steam table til its time to serve it.

I dont recall about the rice pilaf as it was off the menu most of the time i worked there, but i think it was just a box mix with a seasoning packet.

the cranberry relish comes to the restaurant premade and is quite tasty. i can only share with you that it is indeed a cranberry orange relish. i dont remember the company that makes it.....however bobevans does all their ordering through a company called mattingly foods which may sell the relish to you directly????

the recipe that is posted cant possibly taste the same as what is served in the recipe. The restaurant version very clearly has marachino cherries in it and this one calls for pie filling. Has anyone tried the posted recipe?

Thanks for the Cherry Bread receipe, this last post sounds more like it. I will give it a whirl. Last weekend I bought the last loaf that BE had, looks like it is a season item.
