Bob Marley (Korean Style)

There is a Korean Reggae/Hip hop duo covering Bob Marley songs including one of his biggest hits No Woman No Cry.

Robert Nesta Marley (1945 - 1981) was born in Jamaica. Selling more than 20 million records, he became one of the most popular Reggae artist in the world. Bob Marley and the Wailers greatest album "Legend" (1984) has gone platinum 10 times!

It was in Britain that Bob Marley and the Wailers scored their first top 40 hit - "No Woman No Cry" in 1975. Singing backup was his wife Rita, Judy Mowatt, and Marcia Griffith (of Electric Boogie fame).

Did you know?

Now this young Korean Reggae/Hip Hop duo known as 'Stony Skunk' has entered the field of Reggae music and covered "No Woman No Cry." One member of this duo known as Skull has seen his US debut single "Boom Di Boom Di" rise to number 5 on the Billboard Hot R and B/Hip Hop Singles Sales chart for the week of August 11, 2007. To listen to Stony Skunk do their version of No Woman No Cry go to Youtube(dot)com and type in: Stony Skunk MV

Is this young duo good? Handsome? (Yes!)

I'd appreciate your opinions!

While there you can also listen to Bob Marley's versions of No Woman No Cry including a rare version and a version done by Jimmy Cliff and Erykah Badu.

Enjoy!

Love to Bob Marley
