Great Body Sculpting Tips For Women

Although men and women are physiologically very similar, however when it comes to body sculpting or body shaping workout, it must be approached a bit differently. This is because the women's body tend to store and accumulate body fat differently. Typically, women's body tend to store fat in the hips, thighs and triceps (back of the arms).

Body sculpting workouts are great for women because the workout routine is designed to target on the problem areas.

In a nutshell, body sculpting workout is very similar to body building workout. However, body building is focusing more on building large muscles whereas body sculpting workout concentrates more on burning calories and gaining small muscles.

Therefore, a good body sculpting workout routine should consist of cardiovascular exercises, weight training exercises and of course a well-balances and healthy diet. Your diet should consist of small meals throughout the day. This will help to maintain your metabolic rate. Please do not skip meal as this can mess up your routine and metabolism. And needless to say, of course, AVOID overeating!

Avoid junk foods, oily foods, excess salt and high carb diet. Also stay away from any processed or canned foods and sugary items. Eat lots of raw green leafy vegetables and fruits. And drink plenty of water.

Do not afraid of weight training. Many women are afraid of weight training because they think that big muscles will creep up on them and their body will look like men or a body builder. Well, the fact is that it's very unlikely that you will develop big muscles even if you do weight training as hard as men. Because women don't produce the amount of testosterone necessary for them to develop the big muscles.

So ladies, don't afraid to go and hit the weights hard as it's essential to your body sculpting routine.

So, to summarize for you, here are the 3 things to remember when it comes to a successful body sculpting program for women....

1. Do cardiovascular exercise at least 3 times a week.

2. Do weight training exercise to gain muscles.

3. Have a well-balanced diet.

Great information! I was into body sculpting many years ago (way before women were in the weight room) and had to hire a personal trainer to help me out with the program. Your information is a great start for women to hit the weights. I'm back into the weight room and loving every rep!
