Bohemian Grove: America's Playground for the Elite

If you have never heard of Bohemian Grove, I encourage you to research the subject. This is a good place to start. What is it? It's a 2700 acre redwood forest located in Monte Rio, CA. It is owned by the Bohemian Club, a private, all-male club headquartered in San Francisco. It was formed in 1872. Members of this club include the wealthy and powerful, including politicians, artists, and CEO's of major corporations.

Because of the secrecy involved, and the fact that every Republican US president (and some Democrats) since 1923 have been members, along with other high-ranking political officials, Bohemian Grove has become a subject of controversy and debate. Some claim that the Grove is nothing more than a place for our nations leaders, and other prominent people, to go and relax, take a break from their stressful lives. Others claim the Grove is a hiding place for the questionable activities of the wealthy and elite, and far more sinister things than mere relaxation go on there.

Perhaps the real issue is that our nations leaders are involved in something that insists on maintaining a large amount of secrecy, and such behavior and affiliation is inappropriate. We, as a nation, need to be able to trust our leaders. It's hard enough without private organizations like the Bohemian Club.

Here you can see a 1981 news report on the Bohemian Grove.

Below you can see Alex Jone's documentary on Bohemian Grove, in which he actually infiltrates the compound and shows us footage from a hidden camera. He's a bit wordy in the beginning, but be patient and you'll eventually get to the meat of the film.

Here you can see enlarged photos of the US dollar, showing the owl in the upper right-hand corner. Yes, pull a dollar out of your wallet and check. It's there.

Whatever Happened to the Good Ol' Days?

So, is the Bohemian Grove just a playground for the elite? Or do darker things happen there? Will we ever know the truth for a certainty? I really don't know.

Perhaps a good way to close out this blog is to leave a link to JFK's Secret Society Speech. The things he has to say about his administration almost make one nostalgic. His ideals seem so noble and quaint these days. Naive, and out of place. If only our leaders would take them to heart.
