Boston Celtics

Whether you're a basketball fan or not, no doubt you've heard of the Boston Celtics. They've won more NBA Eastern Division Championships (16) than any other team.

Founded in 1946 the Celtics won Division Conferences in 1957, 1958, 1959, 1960, 1961, 1962, 1963, 1964, 1965, 1972, 1973, 1974, 1975, 1976, 1980, 1981, 1982, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1991, 1992, and 2005, Conference Titles in 1957, 1958, 1959, 1960, 1961, 1962, 1963, 1964, 1965, 1966, 1968, 1969, 1974, 1976, 1981, 1984, 1985, 1986, and 1987and Championships in 1957, 1959, 1960, 1961, 1962, 1963, 1964, 1965, 1966, 1968, 1969, 1974, 1976, 1981, 1984, and 1986.

It's been a long dry spell for this team. Boston fans however are nothing if they're not loyal (look how long they've stood by the Red Sox!!). Let's hope that between Danny Ainge and the upcoming 'updated' team that the Boston Celtics can make a long awaited comeback!
