Boston Market Restaurant

The first Boston Market restaurant opened in 1985 in Massachusetts. It was originally called Boston Chicken. There are Boston Market restaurants across the United States, most prominently in the New England area.

Boston Market makes American dishes like rotisserie chicken, meatloaf, sliced ham, mashed potatoes, and cinnamon apples. Some Boston Market dishes are available in the freezer section of grocery stores.

Several favorite Boston Market copycat recipes are available here, including Boston Market meatloaf recipes, recipe clone for Boston Market creamed spinach, and more.

Boston Market Meatloaf Recipe Copycat

1 cup tomato sauce

1 1/2 tablespoons Kraft original barbeque sauce

1 tablespoon sugar

1 1/2 lb ground sirloin

6 tablespoons all-purpose flour

3/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 teaspoon pepper

dash garlic powder

Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

Mix the first 3 ingredients in a small pan over medium heat on the stove. Heat until mixture starts to bubble. Stir often. Remover from heat.

Put the ground sirloin and all but 2 tablespoons of the tomato sauce mixture in a large mixing bowl. Mix together very well with your hands. Add the rest of the ingredients to the meat mixture. Again, mix together very well with your hands.

Put the mixture into a loaf pan. Cover the loaf pan with foil and put in preheated oven for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, take meatloaf out of oven. Remove aluminum foil and drain off the fat and water. Slice the meatloaf while still in the pan. Pour the leftover 2 tablespoons of sauce over the top of the meatloaf slices. Put meatloaf back into oven, uncovered, for an additional 30 minutes or until meatloaf is done.

Makes approximately 4-5 servings

You don't by any chance have any A.G. Ferrari copycat recipes? I've been trying to duplicate their "lenticchie e spinaci" (lentils & spinach, cold salad) for a while, and the only recipes I can find online are for soup.

Sorry, livelonger, I don't. But I'll keep an eye out. I have lots of friends that like to experiment with different recipes and I've been collecting copycat recipes long before the internet. I haven't even heard of A.G. Ferrari. Where is it located?

There are a few locations here in the Bay Area. They have a lot of authentic (but pricey) Italian culinary favorites (either for home or for a nice lunch):

It seems from their Website that they're only in Northern California.

I am looking for the recipe for Boston Market's Southwest-style grilled chicken. It has a delicious pepper sauce on it to die for.
