I love bottled water. For years I have been involved with the world of bottled water in different capacities. It began when, while working as a water engineer, I designed reverse osmosis systems for beverage bottling companies. My job took me to bottling plants where I would see thousands of bottles sliding by on huge conveyors on their way to receive water or other beverages and have their caps put on. And labels too!. I was partial to water bottling plants because the equipment I made was for purifying water for bottled water consumption. Some of these plants had bottling machines that could fill 500 cases per minute. WOW.

Another part of my job was to attend conventions about bottled water. These were industry affairs and one annual show was sponsored by the IBWA, or, International Bottled Water Association. These were fun times. All different kinds of bottled water, equipment, information etc.

So one day I was doing what I always did and the internet came along. After months of this I noticed that people were stating to open stores on the web. I thoght that eventually all of the space on the web might get used up so I better do someting. So ten years ago I started BottledWaterStore.com. Nothing like it had ever existed. The theme of the site was "Unique, high quality bottled water from around the world".

Well all kinds of changes and evolutions have aoccureed over the years for example, BWS has become the largest distributor of private label bottled water nationally. But was is happening now is most exciting. Now I get to write blogs and news content and add news content to BWS and elsewhere. I can now share my enthusiam with bottled water lovers everywhere.
