The Bowflex Revolution XP is the latest home-gym from Bowflex. While I'm not a big fan of infomercials, I must say it did catch my attention. I decided to order it and try it out since it has a money back guarantee. And what a workout I got.

Before I begin, I must admit, this machine is very heavy - thanks to its rugged construction. What makes the revolution so great is the Spiraflex resistance technology. This patented technology duplicates the resistance and benefits of free weights. I can really feel the difference compared to other home gyms like Soloflex. It comes with 200lbs of resistance standard. If your really feeling strong, you an upgrade to 280 lbs.

The Revolution Xp basically offers all the muscle-building workouts of your local gym in one machine. You can do a large variety of upperbody and lowerbody workouts.

Upperbody workouts - utilize the Freedom Arm which adjusts to 170 degrees to work your muscles from various angles. This is geat for doing bodyparts like arms to etch out all the detail. If you want to blast back then you can use the optional Lat Tower - great for sculpting your back and shoulder muscles.

Lowerbody workouts - This is great if you want to work your leg an dhip muscles without bulky equipment. The revolution comes with a squat harness and leg attachment for seated leg attachments and standing leg curls.

Ab Workouts - Everyobody wants a flatter stomach. In fact, I love doing abs. The ab workouts are great if you want a leaner and more defined core. You can also add the optional Ab Back Pad to ramp up your core workouts by up to 40%.
