Boxer Dogs - Popular Pet Review

Chosen by many as one of pet enthusiasts favorite breeds, the Boxer is a combination of two breeds that existed in Europe. These are the now extinct Brabenter Bullenbeiser and Danziger Bullenbeiser. The resulting Boxer was recognized in the early twenthieth century by the AKC.

They are playful, friendly and strictly obey their masters commands and orders. They are ctive dogs and a good family pet, friendly with children and behave well with other pets.

Maintenance and Upkeep of Boxers

They are not they type of dog who enjoy being boarded up indoors all of the time. Boxer's are naturally active, and need both physical and mental stimulation on a daily basis so need to be taken on walks or runs. If you like jogging, these are the perfect companion when you go for your run.

Suitable for living indoors with families, Boxer's do not like hot weather.Instead they prefer cooler temperatures. If you live in a hot location, it is adviseable to make sure they do not stay in direct sunlight for long periods of time. It is also a good idea to provide a shaded area when they are outside so they don't over heat.

This breed of dog has a short coat, so grooming boxers is relatively easy compared to many other dogs. They only need to be brushed about once a week to remove any dead hairs or dust.
