1-Evidence suggests that by removing the stigma of clothing and colors that they are improving students study habits by helping them to blend in.  In other words, kids are mean when other kids don't wear what is trendy or popular, so those kids are made fun of.  If the clothing stigma is taken away students can focus on learning.  School uniforms help relieve the pressure students may feel because they are tall, short, thin, fat, and they either don't blend in with other kids, or they can't afford to. 

2-Experts have said that they believe that because students dress is more professional, that they will behave more like serious students in class. 

3-Cost is the third reason given.  School uniforms are seen as more affordable than a closet full of trendy clothes.

4-Students are identified easier and faster in school uniforms. 

5-Decisions about what to wear in the morning are eliminated.

Con: 

1-Some believe that uniforms don't allow students to express their individuality or give them self expression.

2-Cost can be seen as a negative too - By forcing parents to buy clothing that will only be worn inside the school walls.

3-Some argue that school uniforms can contain materials that may not be comfortable. 

Dockers Boys school uniforms provide trendy clothing that can be worn outside of school and give students self expression.  My take on school uniforms is that if you can't express yourself and your uniqueness through your personality then you have a lot more problems than clothing.
