Ingredients:
5 pcs eggplant
1/2 cup cooking oil
3 Tbsp oyster sauce
3 Tbsp water
1 Tbsp minced garlic
1 Tbsp sliced onions
1 pc bell pepper, cut into strips
Cooking Directions:
1. Pan-fry eggplant and set aside.
2. Saute garlic, onion, and ground meat. Cook until color changes.
3. Pour in oyster sauce and water, then add the eggplant and bell pepper.
4. Cook over high heat until sauce thickens.
5. Garnish with chopped spring onions if desired.
Recipe #2: Sitaw Guisado (String Beans Stir-Fry)
Ingredients:
150 grams sitaw (string beans) cut into 2" length
1/2 cup peeled shrimps
3 tsp oyster sauce
1 Tbsp garlic
1/4 cup onion
2 Tbsp cooking oil
Cooking Directions:
1. Saute garlic, onions until onions become transparent. Add shrimps and cook until it turns pink.
2. Add sitaw (string beans) and oyster sauce.
3. Cover and cook until done.
Substitution: Green Beans for string beans. Chicken or pork strips for shrimp.
