Many of the ideas that keep Cannondale products come from the sponsored athletes on the company's professional racing teams. The company's racers gave advices, and with Cannondale's flexible production processes, new innovations and improvements to existing products resulted.

Those refinements aren't limited to the company's competition-oriented road racing and mountain bikes. The company also produce light-weight recreational bikes as well as its state-of-the-art cycling apparel lines.

This company website customers can enjoy free shipping to any of its 60+ stores nationwide. My experiences with this company have been always positive.

A few years ago, we bought an item in the San Francisco store. We had to exchange it in a Michigan store without any glitch whatsoever. I also know someone who had ordered a Cannondale bike directly from the manufacturer and had the bike shipped to a local store of this company to be assembled.

Scott Bike

In 1958, The Birth of SCOTT and the Revolution of Ski Poles. The sport of skiing was revolutionized with a technical innovation from Ed Scott, a talented engineer and ski racer living in Sun Valley, Idaho. Ed Scott's invention of the first tapered aluminum ski pole immediately replaced the sport's existing use of bamboo and steel. That revolutionary invention launched a new brand, SCOTT, and fundamentally positioned SCOTT as a technical product leader in the skiing market. Ed Scott's initial vision of technical innovation would serve as the cornerstone company philosophy as the brand matured and expanded to new markets.

In 1986, Scott opened the world's most sophisticated ski pole factory and became the global leader in ski pole production. That same year SCOTT introduced its first mountain bike. In 1989, SCOTT introduced one of the most significant product innovations in the history of bicycling-the aerodynamic handlebar. The handlebar was strategically utilized by American Greg Lemond in his 1989 Tour de France win.
