Who Are You?

Good morning breakfastpoppers. Today is Thursday, November 12, 2009. Today I would like to prepare a Breakfast Pudding Souffle. If you want to follow along, you will need 4 large eggs, 2 cups low-fat milk, 1 and 1/2 cups peeled and sliced apples, 1 and 1/2 cups granola, 1 and 1/2 tablespoons maple syrup, 1 tablespoon butter and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.

Grease four 16 ounce ramekins with butter. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a medium bowl stir together granola, apples and maple syrup. In a different bowl, mix eggs, milk and vanilla. Divide this mixture evenly into ramekins. Add apple mixture in even amounts and stir. Bake for 30 minutes or until set. Make yourself a cup of coffee and enjoy your souffle, I feel a letter coming on.

Dear President Obama,

I am writing to you this morning because I have come to the conclusion that despite your many eloquent speeches, you keep your true self hidden far away from the public. I watched you when you spoke about the Fort Hood tragedy for the first time and a chill ran through me when you gave a "shout out" followed by a chuckle to the American Indians. Your insensitivity took my breath away. I watched you and for the moment there was no massacre at Fort Hood, there was only you and a photo op. When you switched gears and began to address the situation your words, although well scripted, lacked sincerity.

The exact same thing can be said of your speech at the Memorial service at Fort Hood. Once again a carefully scripted speech by a speech writer, read by you, thanks to the teleprompter. I watched you. Where was the emotion for the dead and injured? I watched you. Where was the heartfelt expression of sympathy for the families of those killed and injured? I watched you. You never once mentioned the possibility of terrorism. I watched you. Your words were eloquent but they were flat. You were reading and it was painfully clear to me that you were not feeling anything.

This is a great source of worry for many of us, no matter our political leanings or affiliations. We have, in you,  a President who is disconnected from his citizens. We have a President whose interests are very egocentric, preventing you from truly feeling what others feel. We have a President who says he cares about the troops yet is incapable of making a decision about their future. We have a President who appears to be sleeping at night despite his inaction. We have a President who does enjoy a good round of golf, while our nation and in particular our soldiers wait for help. There is something terribly lacking in you, sir,  and I and many others are  concerned.

When all the facts emerge about Major Hasan, will you stand before us and speak about the threat of terrorist acts by Muslims? I wonder. Will you experience the same sort of confusion as to where your loyalties lie, as apparently Maj. Hasan did? Thanks to fellow hubber Jiberish, I saw some videos of you, sir,  speaking about your Muslim heritage and extolling all of the contributions Muslims have made to society. In one clip, you said that you were a Muslim and a very proud Muslim at that.

So, I ask you Mr. President, where do your sympathies and loyalties lie? Are you a Muslim first and an American second as Maj. Hasan proudly was? You need to address the American people, sans teleprompter, and let us in as to what makes you tick. So far the messages you have been sending are very, very disturbing, in my view.

You find it easy to apologize to the world for the sometimes "derisive" actions of our country. You find it easy to praise the Muslim world's great contributions. You find it easy to jump to conclusions about the Prof. Gates Affair and you remain silent on the apparent connections to radical terrorists that Maj. Hasan had. You surround yourself with radical off the wall Marxists. You took refuge and comfort in the spiritual house of Rev. Wright for twenty years. You never once explained any of these things to anyone's satisfaction.

Who are you Barack Hussein Obama? Who are you?...POP...

Pop,

All I can say is BRAVO and DITTO!!!!!!!!

Now I hear he doesn't want any of the options offered by his generals for Afghanistan!!!!! I guess they'll have to propose surrender.

I do have a question on a different subject. What the H is a ramekin?

Dear Tom,

I am so relieved you were able to access my hub. For some reason, when I published it, the Hub said it didn't exist. I can't even print it for the same reason.

A ramekin is a small white little cup that is kind of rippled on the outside. I am so happy you were able to come for breakfast.

Bravo; you nailed it here. This guy is only passionate about himself. He cannot step out of the campaign (rock star) mode where women were fainting and thousands were blindly chanting Yes We Can and O-Bam-A! He lacks sincerity because he is INSINCERE!

Dear Patriot,

Honestly, it's moments like this that are a window to his soul., and there is nothing there. Thanks for sharing breakfast with me. i am relieved you were able to read this hub, because apparently, not everyone can see it!!

I finally broke through.

At 0300 I was privy to an e-mail from a fellow Marine who knew an Army Officer who was shot at and missed before seeking cover. I plan on Hubbing this account in the days to come as things are released from the investigation.

Hasan is an Islamic extremist, Hasan did commit a terrorist act on American soil.

As time passes Obama, excuse me while I spit, either call it what it was or be outed as another Islamic Terrorist, that is my opinion and I doubt much will change it.

A Christian Prayer from the book of Psalms.

Psalm 109:8 "LET HIS DAYS BE FEW; AND LET ANOTHER TAKE HIS PLACE OF LEADERSHIP

Let us Pray.

Pop thanks for a great letter, jibberish thanks for the video.

Now it is time for me to retire to the bar! I'm buying.

This has taken me far from the good day I enjoyed yesterday.

Someone cheer me up!

Morning POP, Will the real Obama please stand up! Wait, he stood up this morning and lied again about all the jobs they have created. I'm sorry but his ego is shinning through his halo. Breakfast is wonderful as usual!

Pop,

I just saw Obamala announce his economic summet on Fox News. He said thet he would convene the meetings of CEO's, small business leaders, labor leaders (SEIU), and community leaders (ACORN) in early December. Over 500,000 more jobs lost last week and he can only talk. In the meantine he's off to Asia.

I would not suggest Obama is a Muslim First and American second, it is more like Muslim First, AMERICAN DEAD LAST!

I had just tuned in Fox News and saw the news of a Fort Hood shooting, I was not sure what had happened and they went to the President for comments,, I was totally confused when he began talking about some Indian persecution and I was not sure what was going on at Fort Hood. When he got to it, I was pissed at him.. One more thing, he showed more emotion when he criticized Officer Gates for the arrest of his Harvard Professor Pal..

I hope you read my Hasan, truly an American Hero Hub..

Pop--you continue to state quite clearly the truth about this egomaniacal fool living in the White House. I too saw the you tube video of Barry talking @ being Muslim. I grow more afraid by the day about where he is trying to drag this nation. My father who is nearly 70 years old is more afraid than I have EVER seen him. He is not prone to over-reaction. His feelings just deepen my concern

I've traveled to Atlanta today but had to log on to see what the group was up to today. The lack of emotion was chilling to me also. I think the rest of the group have covered everything else. An Excellent letter Pop; I applaud you.

Dear Pamela,

You were better off in Atlanta today. The Hub was not working properly and my hub kept saying it didn't exist. It was all very exasperating and I'm still not convinced it's fixed because I can't print it. It's kind of like Obama's job numbers. They don't exist and my hub can't be printed because it doesn't exist! Thank you for stopping by. Enjoy the rest of the day.

breakfastpop, dynamite letter! Obama seems to care less and less about the American people and our soldiers who are dwindling in Afghanistan! As for Fort Hood, the Bush's showed how much they cared. Thank God someone represented the American People! I love the Psalm by 50 Caliber Psalm 109:8 "LET HIS DAYS BE FEW; AND LET ANOTHER TAKE HIS PLACE OF LEADERSHIP." It seems to have been written for a situation just like this!

The truth has unvailed a terrorist hidden on our Military base,

Hasan, the Muslim-American Soldier, who had more than just one face!

His true identity lay hidden away for only extremists and the government to see,

It makes me wonder why our government did not intervene before this shooting spree!

We lost many beloved and heroic soldiers to Hasan's hatred of the American way!

And our own President's heart is cold to those who were touched by the violence on that day!

America, Americans, Our Soldiers deserve a President that will fight for them,

Someone who will proudly stand beside our soldiers and sing the battle hymn,

Three more years is much to long to settle for a President who also has two faces,

We are proud Americans who love our country, that this President flagrantly disgraces!

Bravo on your letter.

I felt heartsick when I heard the lack of compassion in his voice, when he finally finished his "shout out" and addressed the tragedy. His sympathies lie elsewhere.
