It can be uncomfortable meeting new people, whether it be at a party, at work, or at an event. However, it can pass once the bariers have been eliminated. Stating a conversation with someone you have never met before can be really easy to accomplish. Get the ball rolling by talking about current events or general interests (such as music, television, movies, sports, art, literature etc.). Topics such as religion and politics can be discussed, but are better left for a future coversation after a relationship has been established. Some people can be difficult to start a conversation with, but there are many who will gladly engage in a conversation. Who knows, you may even make a friend out of it in the proccess.
