Each October, the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation promotes it’s golf edition of “Rally for the Cure benefitting cancer research to eliminate the disease,” and every year Orlando members of the Executive Women’s Golf Association take part in the sponsoring such an event. On October 3rd, the ladies in the Orlando chapter of the EWGA postponed shopping on the website http://www.golfessentialsforwomen.com/, and joined in the festivities at the ChampionsGate Golf Club. The course is the host club for the Orlando EWGA 2009 Rally and tournament.

The EWGA members teeing off at the first hole of the ChampionsGate golf course displayed more than their usual enthusiasm for the game of golf. While members have varied memories in respect to other women’s golf tournaments, they all share a desire to contribute to the fight against breast cancer. With the support of others many male and ladies golf enthusiasts, everyone participating in the day’s activities will add to the amount of money raised annually in the name of the Komen Foundation.

The pink color that’s associated with the flamingos of Florida, will appear to travel about the golf course at the ChampionsGate Golf Club. The pink women’s golf clothing worn by a number of the tournament players will certainly contrast sharply with the green of the fairways. No doubt, at least some of those women will have purchased their pink outfits from Golf Essentials for Women.
