Breckenridge Nightlife
75A Night on the Town in Breckenridge
You're more than likely going to Breckenridge for the world-class skiing because it's some of the best in the world. But the chairlifts shut down at 4pm when the sun goes behind the mountains. So what do you do during the night in Breckenridge? Have fun!
Breckenridge has a great selection of bars, restaurants and nightclubs to keep you busy after skiing. And everything is located within a block of Main Street, so you don't need a car to get from one spot to another. Grab your friends and get ready for a night on the town in Breckenridge!
The clubs in Breckenridge are open late and there's something for everyone. Cecilia's, Sherpa & Yeti's, Salt Creek and the Liquid Lounge all offer a different theme on any given night, whether you are in the mood for dancing, martini's, or just to watch the crowds. The clubs offer Dj's or live bands and a great atmosphere with a good variety of rock, techno, country and hip hop.
If the club scene is not your thing, don't worry; you can experience some of the more laidback bars in Breckenridge. The Breckenridge Brewery has amazing beer that is brewed onsite. If you are in the mood for a margarita, you can swing by Mi Casa, a local Mexican restaurant that serves great food and drinks. If you've been skiing all day, you don't have to worry about catching dinner before the restaurants close because many of the bars and restaurants in Breckenridge keep their kitchens open late. Breckenridge also has several sports bars so you don't have to worry about missing the game. One word of caution, however; you'll find that alcohol affects you faster at 9600ft than it does at sea level, so don't drink too much too fast. Since Main Street hosts so many of the best restaurants and clubs, you should book your Breckenridge lodging within walking distance of this area so you don't have to worry about driving anywhere.
Let's say you are looking for something a bit more elegant. If you are on a romantic getaway with that special someone, chances are you're not going to want to hit bars every night. Go someplace special like The Blue River Bistro. The Bistro offers great dining and an exceptional wine list, and is open very late. They also have live music every night. As far as after hours places go in Breckenridge, the Blue River Bistro is one of the more elegant places you can go, but it's not the only place. The Crown and the South Ridge Street Seafood Grille are also great places to have fun, each with a unique atmosphere and tasty menu.
What about entertainment? Well you can see bands at many of the clubs and bars in Breckenridge, but if you are looking to catch a movie, or even a play you can check out the Speak Easy Movie Theatre. They have several shows there, ranging from concerts, plays and movies if you want to take a night off from clubbing but still want to get out of the rental condo.
Breckenridge's main attraction is of course the snow, but they do offer plenty to keep you busy once you are off the mountain. With fine dining, and great after hours places, you're sure to have a good time when the sun goes down. Whether you're looking for beer, wine, martini bars, sports bars, clubs, or lounges, Breckenridge will surely accommodate you.

I LOVE the Liquid Lounge, Cecilia's and Sherpa and Yeti's! Not much of a country music person but the other three are really kickin'!
