Breeder's Choice Dog Food - Healthy Dog Foods?

Products are made by Menu Foods and American Nutrition. ** Both Menu Foods and American Nutrition have a long history of pet food recalls.

Parent Company - Central Garden and Pet

Personal Note - Avocados contain a toxic component called persin, which can damage heart, lung and other tissue in many animals. This fruit is very toxic to dogs, cats and most animals. Breeder's Choice, what were you thinking?

I guess I'm just confused... is Breeder's Choice the same thing as Avoderm? If so, why are you bashing them here but have them on your safe list?

My question exactly. I'm looking for a reasonably priced hypoallergenic dog food. Any assistance you can give would be helpful.

Breeder's Choice MAKES Avoderm, as well as other pet foods such as Pinnacle - which seem to be getting fairly bad ratings on the Danger Gauge. Guess it's back to the drawing board to find something hypoallergenic for my dog.
