Brian Kopp Alliance Leveling Guide

Brian Kopp’s Alliance Guide is the first guide I bought after starting to play World of Warcraft and getting frustrated with how slow the leveling process turning out to be. I spend a lot of hours at work so I don’t have the time to do the same when I play WoW. I’m lucky if I get one night or two a week with several hours devoted to it on the weekends. Of course, spending so much time on the weekends playing Warcraft tends to mean that errands don’t get done

The other big thing is that I know that WoW is meant to be this big multiple player game, but for myself I prefer to mostly play solo. I don’t have a guild I hang out with or regular players that I chat with. I’ll occasionally group up to run some instances, but only if I have the time to do it. It’s amazing just how much grouping and chatting online really consumes your time.

I didn’t have much trouble at the lower levels playing by myself, but once I got into the mid-20s or so I started to really feel how long it was taking to gain levels incrementally and it got frustrating so I looking into some of the guides available and decided to go with Brian Kopp's.

I found Brian Kopp's Leveling Guide worked out pretty well. One of the best things about Brian Kopp’s guide for Alliance faction is that since he’s a speed runner, he does most of his leveling and questing by himself, so he does big solo runs through the game. Once I started using Brian’s leveling guide I abandoned my original character and rolled up a new one on a different PVE server (I was on a PvP before, big mistake! I hate getting killed!) just to test it out and I found that I was even getting through the early levels much faster (it helped not being killed constantly).

It ended up taking me a little over 3 months to get to level 70 and that’s with only playing about 15 hours a week or so. The first week I had the guide I probably put in about 45 hours because I was moving so fast and so into it too. So I think someone who had a lot more time to devote to the game could really bang through the levels quickly.
