Cons:

The only con for the Brita Slim Pitcher is you may have to wait a while to fill it. The top section which holds the water passing through the Brita filter is smaller than the part that holds filtered water, creating the inconvenience of refilling it two to three times to fill the pitcher, the filtering is also a little slow, but not a problem.

Lid design may stick to the top "reservoir" pulling out the whole top section, requiring you to use something such as a knife or fingernail to pry it open just to add water.

Some of the last filters I bought have leaked small amounts of the black granules (about a teaspoonful a week).

All in all, this is a great way to have filtered water, without taking up a large amount of room in your refrigerator.
