Gregg Pritchard Britain's Got Talent - Shocks the World With His Voice
68Gregg Pritchard Sings on Britain's Got Talent Video is at End of Article
On the popular television show in Great Britain called Britain's Got Talent, Gregg Pritchard surprises the judges with the sounds that came out of his mouth. The television show produced the likes of Susan Boyle, a 48 year old spinster whose "I Dream a Dream" caused an internet singing sensation. Susan Boyle may win the Britain's Got Talent Contest to be announced May 23, 2009 but the likes of Gregg Pritchard got the English world of entertainment wondering.
YouTube has registered almost 2 million viewers of the video that is in this article for your entertainment, enjoyment and curiosity. Gregg looked like a rock star with a rugged jacket and a hair style spiked to the side like Adam, the contestant on American Idol. With hair spiked in disaray complete with a goat tee and the rugged looking unlifted collared jacket , Gregg opened his mouth and began to sing.
The sound that came out of Gregg Pritchard's mouth "shocked us all" as the british announcers said after his rendition of the song. Gregg Pritchard's voice sounded like an opera star and the announcers asked as the audience must have been thinking: Did that sound come from him? While singing his operatic interlude for a search of formal terms, Gregg took his vocal chords up another spike as in the uppermost point of his spiked hair and the audience was raised to their feet applauding with awe.
Gregg Pritchard was at Britain's Got Talent to win world wide fame and evade his job as a waiter which Simon Cowell had him to confess that he "hated." Try listening to the video as the author is doing while writing this article. Without looking at the video listen and you will not believe that the beautiful soprano tenor is emitting from the rugged straggling haired fellow. Simon Cowell who is a judge on America's Got Talent said after Gregg Pritchard finishedsinging that "What he had experienced just didn't happen. " Simon Cowell said that the singing sounded like a dog meowing. Simon Cowell also said that he did not have a "bloody clue" on how to rate the singing. Nevertheless the shock appeal worked and Gregg received a "yes" from all three judges to go through with the next round of the competition on Britain's Got Talent.
Unlike Susan Boyle who had more of a lonely cat spinster story and the song she sang had a relevance, "I Dream a Dream;" no one asked Gregg Pritchard what he was singing. The audience was just amazed that such a voice with such operatic range was coming from the rugged and unlikely opera singer on stage. So much unusual talent is coming from "Britain's Got Talent" television show that one of the commenters asked that the show be produced live in the United States.
Gregg Pritchard told the audience not to laugh when he labeled his singing as a male tenor. Simon Cowell said that he was puzzled and did not mind hearing a "dog meow." The announcers at the back of the stage told Gregg Pritchard for all of his shock appeal "Job well done."
Simon Cowell's epic remark was "That was the most surreal thing I have ever seen happened."

Hawesdream, try the video again. I was in the process of tweaking for grammatical errors when you tried to view. Thank you for your comment.
Great and amazing voice!
earnesthub, thank you for your comment. I am happy that you enjoyed the video. If the presentation was audio instead of video, you would swear that the sounds came from an operatic singer. Like Simon Cowell said after hearing Gregg Pritchard, "What he just heard should not have happened."
