57Britney Spears either call her a pop tart or pop star, she has proved herself that she is not so innocent.She was born in Kentwood, La., and raised a Southern Baptist.
Britney has a younger sister, Jamie Lynn, who stars in her own Nickelodeon TV show "Zoey 101," and an older brother, Bryan.
Britney was heavily involved in gymnastics as a child, competing in state-level competitions and taking classes until she was 9.
She also performed in various dance revues, and was auditioning for "MMC," aka the New Mickey Mouse Club, by the time she was 8.
She was considered too young to be on the show, but by auditioning she was introduced to a New York agent and spent three summers at the NYC Professional Performing Arts School. She also performed in several off-Broadway plays and commercials.

What makes for a beautiful face? You can analyze it ad infinitum. But look at Brit. First, perfect symmetry, left side of the face a mirror of the right. There are no sharp edges, all features smooth, plumpish, tumescent, flowing. Here's a big consideration: the bridge of her nose, the shape flares up, widens, blends into her eyebrows in two sweet arcs. Then that Britney mouth. Forget the cuss words that emanate from there. A mouth blessed with that cupid's bow upper lip, curling up at the corners, and puckers at the center . And when she switches on that 400 watt smile, she knocks us out with 100 pearly whites. When she makes that mouth gape open wild from the hinges, she engulfs you with her joy. I love the ample flawless forehead, her cheeks and the soft chin, too.
