What is woman without man?

My heart is breaking,

My mind filled with thoughts of broken pottery -

Their shards piercing my very being,

Driving deep into my soul.

So conscious of my imperfection...

Great tears welling up within,

Yearning to splash upon this dusty

Earth, and flow - muddy rivers of

Anguish, shame, pain and regret

Because of my sins: my foolishness -

My impetuousness.

I perceive no longer the intrepid hero,

Rather, a formless piece of clay awaiting

The Master’s touch...

Healing hands,

Soothing, re-creating hands,

Imparting life, and love, and truth.
