Building a Life
Do you ever wonder why some people are so concerned with YOUR life and not their own? Maybe I am mean but I will laugh or giggle, shake my head and move along.
It is such a waste of time and our time is so short in this world that we should make it as wonderful as possible. Not just for ourselves but include our family, friends and o yes, our lover.
I will walk outside every morning just to see which direction my hair is going to get blown, catch a glimpse of that whiskey jack or blue jay, toss sesame seeds out to that chipmunk or squirrel. Listen to the birds. Feel the sun. Smell the air and wonder if it's going to snow, rain, shine or sleet, etc.
Life should be about enjoying what we can touch, feel, see, smell, hear and just revel in those moments, share and celebrate our lives.
Why stand at the door, watching somebody and wondering, where are they going? what are they doing? what's going on? why are they going hither n thither? how can I find out? why does that person avoid me? how can I make that person's life miserable? how did they get this, that and the other thing?Would you really want to spend your life doing just that everyday?
I spend my life teaching and learning from my children, friends and family and we love our little world on this world. We don't necessarily have to love all the people nearby but we are provided with the opportunity to explore, learn and observe unfolding stories if we are willing to touch, see, feel, taste and listen.
Oh yes and that person standing at the door watching. Well, maybe it is fear, mistrust, or some other reason, but they have become outcasts by their own making and maybe their own choosing. Speculation on the reasons can go on endlessly but we do make our own worlds as we see fit.

So glad you enjoyed. :) thanks chefjeff.
Oh girl, I hear you!!! I have met several of those people and they can be so utterly draining!!! I too enjoy the simple things in life... especially now that we have our little farm... the critters are an absolute delight (hard work too) to watch!! We can learn so much from them about living in the now and enjoying every single moment!!! Nice hub...makes you really think about what is important and what is not!!!
Hi MFG, I'm glad you share in the same belief. Life must go own with or without others whether we like it or not. Thank you for sharing your comments and visiting. :)
